About the Role
The Littlehampton Academy is seeking a skilled DT Technician to join our Creative Arts faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, safety-conscious individual who enjoys working in a creative, workshop-style environment and wants to play a vital behind-the-scenes role in student learning.
This permanent position is 22.5 hours per week, term time only (including INSET days).
The initial rate of pay is the equivalent of £13.91 per hour, paid monthly over 12 months. The pay scale has five spinal points and increments are awarded in April until the top of the pay scale is reached. The actual pro-rata starting salary is £14,202 per annum.
You will be working with a team of dedicated staff in a very motivating, forward-thinking environment. Our school is committed to providing excellent CPD at all levels, including weekly teaching and learning development for all and progression programmes for each career stage, from ECT to leadership.
