Lead Practitioner for Mathematics

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an exceptional Lead Practitioner for Mathematics

Start Date: January 2024

Salary: Leadership 2 to Leadership 6 - Currently £45,414 to £50,122 (pay award pending and starting point is negotiable depending on skills and experience)

Contract: Full time Permanent

St Peter’s CofE Academy is looking to appoint a talented, forward thinking and innovative Lead Practitioner in Mathematics.

This exciting role involves leading successful teaching and learning strategies in the Mathematics Faculty.

This is a new role that has been created within the Faculty, so there will be an opportunity to align responsibilities with the strengths and interests of the successful candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering the highest quality lessons and achieving excellent results for your students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to assist in motivating and developing the Maths staff at the Academy

• Demonstrate the potential to ensure exceptional progress for our students
