Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is now available for a People (HR) Manager to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with an appropriate CIPD qualification. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in an education background. The role will provide day-to-day support and advice to the Principal and senior managers, ensuring best practice and the relevant employment legislation applies.

The People (HR) Manager will work on site five days per week.

Some of the highlighted responsibilities are:

  • Deal with and work on a range of employee relations cases, including discipline, capability, grievance, attendance and performance management.
  • Use data to monitor attendance and support line managers in managing absences, return to work interviews and implementing the absence management policy.
  • Supporting and advising the Principal and Senior Leadership Team on a range of people management issues.
  • Support the People Officer in the monthly data collection/statistic for the academy.
  • Manage the general day-to-day people management issues.
