Kings Priory School would like to appoint a well-qualified and talented physics teacher to their successful and supportive science department. If you are passionate about creating independent learners who are equipped for a modern world, have a commitment to personal excellence and are ready for a new challenge, then we would welcome your application. Physics is well-resourced and based within specialised labs with interactive whiteboards. The subject is popular at A-level and is taught as a discrete triple subject option, as well as within the combined GCSE course. The post is likely to involve teaching science at KS3 and KS4 and physics at KS5.
This post would ideally suit an NQT or RQT, although an application from anyone with any expertise is welcomed. A comprehensive mentoring programme runs in the school to support staff development.
Kings Priory School is one of the highest performing schools in North East of England, providing high quality education to 1450 pupils aged 4 – 19.
