Are you looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an experienced individual to lead St Augustine Academy.
St Augustine Academy is a small academy with a roll of approximately 800 and a truly comprehensive intake of students. We are an inclusive Christian designated school that welcome people of all faiths and none. Our focus is on making a difference and creating an environment for our young people where every one of them is 'known and nurtured’.
What we are looking for:
An exciting opportunity has been created at the Academy for an appropriately experienced individual with a track record of success. You will have delivered strong pupil outcomes, high standards of behaviour and excellent staff engagement in a school. You will be passionate about continuous development and improvement in order to reach the highest standards.
Our students deserve the very best. Your exceptional inclusive leadership skills and emotional intelligence are likely to set you apart. Your ability to establish relationships with the broadest range of individuals and organisations will be critical to our future success. You will understand the complexities of leadership in this context, but you will not be working alone. You will benefit from a committed staff group, an enthusiastic and knowledgeable leadership team, collaboration with like-minded leaders across the Trust and the support of a School Improvement team.
We are looking for an April 2024 or September 2024 commencement date.
The successful candidate will be supported by an Executive Principal.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Amendment Order 1986 and, as such, the successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check and comply with the safeguarding policy and child protection practices of the trust.
Asylum and Immigration
To comply with Asylum and Immigration legislation you will be required (if appointed) to provide one or more documents from the Immigration Act 2006 - List A and B. You must provide proof of current and valid permission to be in the United Kingdom and valid permission to do the type of work offered.
Closing date: Friday 24 November 2023
