St Peter’s Academy is seeking to appoint a Learning & Teaching Assistant to join our SEN department within the Academy as soon as possible. The role is to support students with special educational needs to help them achieve their academic potential.
This post is 32.50 hours per week and is term time only.
The successful candidate will:
Use specialist knowledge and experience to provide appropriate support to students with special educational needs. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
We are looking for candidates with experience and enthusiasm who are able to communicate clearly with staff and students.
You will be responsible for working with students with additional educational needs. Emphasis is placed on being highly motivated, enthusiastic to inspire with the ability to personalise strategies and interventions for each student individually.
