We are looking to recruit a qualified High Level Teaching Assistant to work in the Post16 centre based at Woodfield School starting September 2024.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are considering getting into teaching to gain experience in a SEND environment.
Salary S7 point 1, full time equivalent £32,512 (pro rata £23,307)
30 Hours per week / 39 weeks of the year, term time only
08:50 - 15:20 Monday to Friday
The position is for a 2 year fixed term appointment, linked to funding, expiring 31 August 2026
Do you have…
- Qualified HLTA status
- Evidence of Maths & English, Grade C GCSE (or equivalent)
- Keen interest and ability to teach ‘outdoor learning’ and 'real life skills' such as cooking, woodwork, gardening or general maintenance skills
- Passion, drive, enthusiasm and a willingness to go the extra mile to make a real difference to the lives of all our pupils with special educational needs and disabilities
