Class Teacher - 0.4 FTE - 12 month fixed term contract initially
2 days per week
The Headteacher and Governing body seek to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Class Teacher with a keen interest/experience (desirable) in delivering English, literacy and reading lessons who can join us in September 2025.
Salary: MPS - UPS + SEN Allowance
Contract: Initially a fixed term contract expiring 31st August 2026, this will be reviewed inline with the schools curriculum requirements for the academic year 2025/26 and 2026/27.

The successful candidates should: -
- Hold ECT/QTS/QTLS status
- Have experience/passion of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs, some of whom may present with emotional and mental health needs.
- Be a developing classroom practitioner who motivates and inspires pupils to engage and achieve.
- Have some experience of delivering a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum which enables pupils to embark upon a learning journey which meets their individual needs enabling them to reach their personal potential.
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and display continued commitment to raising standards whilst meeting the very individual needs of the pupils.
- Be committed to breaking down barriers to learning and make learning fun for all.
- Be passionate about the opportunities for pupils with Learning and Additional Needs (LAN) and be committed to inclusion.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Multidisciplinary team to develop appropriate provision for pupils within the school.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with pupils, parents, staff and Governors and all stakeholders engaged with the school.
