The Headteacher and Governing Body seek to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Class Teacher to join Woodfield Education Centre @ Carrington from September 2026.
WEC@C is a specialist satellite provision for pupils aged 11–16 with Learning and Additional Needs / Moderate Learning Difficulties and co-occurring needs, based within a mainstream secondary setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing specialist provision and help shape outcomes for young people with SEND.
We welcome applications from teachers with specialist SEND experience and also from strong candidates with relevant primary or secondary backgrounds.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience of, or strong interest in, working with pupils with SEND
- Be an effective classroom practitioner who motivates and inspires pupils
- Deliver ambitious and appropriately differentiated learning
- Have high expectations of achievement, behavior and inclusion
- Be committed to removing barriers to learning
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and professionals
