Exciting career development opportunity to contribute as part of a dynamic team working at our recently opened satellite unit based at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Esher. We are looking for a part-time teacher working 2-days per week.
Our satellite provision currently caters for three classes of pupils who are autistic and have learning difficulties, offering them a safe, support and stimulating environment where they can thrive. It represents an innovative step forward in Surrey specialist provision and we are proud to leading this initiative in partnership with a forward-thinking mainstream setting.
The satellite benefits from beautiful school grounds, a brand new outdoor play area and excellent facilities, all of which help to create a calm and enriching learning space tailored to the needs of our pupils. Staff working at the satellite are part of the wider Woodlands School community, known for it's high standards, strong ethos of teamwork and specialist expertise in SEND education.
We are looking for a passionate, creative and committed professional who wants to make a real difference in the lives of autistic young people. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or early in your special school career, this is a rare opportunity to help shape a provision that truly meets the needs of its learners.
