Woodmancote School is a thriving two-form entry primary school on the outskirts of Cheltenham. The governors, children, parents and staff are looking to appoint a new permanent Headteacher, due to the forthcoming retirement of the current postholder.

The Woodmancote community is looking for a Headteacher who will:

The successful candidate will be able to fulfil the essential requirements listed in the person spec.

Applicants will be subject to recruitment and selection procedures designed to emphasise the school’s commitment to the safeguarding of its pupils and staff. These procedures include questioning at the interview stage, verification of appropriate qualification, acquiring references, and necessary safety checks.

We will require details of two referees within the application form. We will obtain references for all shortlisted candidates prior to interview.
