Key Responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schoolβs behaviour policy.
- Respond to any questions from students about the task at hand.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in schools, tutoring, coaching).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and calmness under pressure.
