An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dual role post of Caretaker (2 days) and Construction technician (3 days). The post is within the Estates department.

The caretaking team provide a range of services from security, porterage, postal services, administering first aid, or setting out a conference room.

The Construction technician team provide support in practical areas, including preparation for practical classes, organisation of maintenance and repairs, co-ordination and requisition of supplies.

This is a varied and challenging role, which requires commitment, excellent customer care skills, the ability to communicate at all levels, and a ‘can do’ mentality. The successful applicant must be a team player and willing to learn new skills. The successful candidate must have a full driving licence preferably with D1 category on it.

The caretaking role will be based at our Winsford site. The Construction technician post will be based at our Warrington site
