Wycliffe College are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Teacher to join our Prep School, playing a vital role in helping pupils with specific learning difficulties thrive both academically and personally. The successful applicant will work closely with the Whole-College Head of Learning Support, providing tailored support that enables each child to achieve progress in line with their individual needs and potential. As a key point of contact for parents and staff, you will foster strong partnerships, offer expert guidance, and contribute to an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to succeed.
The postholder will hold a relevant degree and have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, ideally of primary school age. They will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of effective teaching and behaviour management strategies, and the ability to adapt support to individual needs. A Level 5 SpLD qualification, Dyslexia Diploma, ELSEA training, and knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and child development would be advantageous.

Terms of Appointment
This is a full-time position, offered on a one-year Fixed Term basis, during school term time with a September 2026 start.
Teaching Salary is on the Wycliffe Pay Scale commensurate with skills and experience.
