Wyedean School and Sixth Form Centre is seeking an inspirational and passionate Teacher of Drama and Performing Arts to join our vibrant Creative Learning Area. About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and teach Drama and Performing Arts across KS3, as well as contribute to Level 2 and Level 3 Performing Arts courses at KS4 and KS5.
- The ability to teach music at KS3 would be advantageous
- Deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Music, contributing to joint schemes of learning and innovative cross‑curricular projects.
- Play a key role in organising and directing school productions, showcases, and performances, helping to create memorable experiences for students and the school community.
- Support the development of high expectations around progress, outcomes, and participation within the Creative Subjects Learning Area.

When carrying out searches of shortlisted candidates’ online presence, the school will look out for indicators of concern, such as:
