Salesian School is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to teach MFL. Italian, Spanish and French have had a healthy uptake within the new A Level which offers superb CPD opportunities for staff wishing to expand their teaching experience. We employ Foreign Language Assistants in both French and Spanish to work with our KS5 pupils at developing their fluency and spoken expression..

As part of a Salesian School, we are also committed to extra-curricular projects. We celebrate the European Languages Day with a European themed Bake Off competition across the school and will be entering Year 7 students into the Foreign Language Spelling Bee next year.

Foreign language trips to Italy, Spain and France are run at every Key Stage and we encourage our most able and talented through taster sessions at Surrey University. Passionate about instilling a love of culture and language; a highly successful Spanish and French exchange is run for Year 10 and 12 students since 2014. Pen Pal opportunities involving letter writing are also encouraged between our students and foreign links.
