Extended School Club Manager
Monday to Friday in the After School Club – 14.30pm to 6pm
Term time only – 39 weeks per annum, appx 17.5 hours per week
Salary: Payscale PS7 - £14,032.00 (Full Time Equivalent £33,552.00 p.a / appx £17.87 per hour inc hol pay)

Extended School Club Manager: Person Specification
- Educated to A level, HNC or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level.
- Knowledge of relevant technical area including, where appropriate, relevant practical skills & relevant qualifications at Level 3 or 4
- Understanding of relevant regulations, processes, procedures, and issues relating to the service user group.
- Competent in a range of IT tools.
- Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to build sound relationships with customers.
- Ability to apply specialist skills/judgement to undertake a programme of works.
- High level analytical and organisational skills.
- Able to prioritise and plan own workload in the context of conflicting priorities and work on own initiative.
- A methodical approach to tasks, recording and reporting.
- Previous work experience in a relevant environment.
- Experience of staff supervision where appropriate.
- H&S training and Designated Safeguarding Lead training.
- Food handling certificate.
- Experience of managing childcare provision, and of working with people who have learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
- Satisfactory DBS clearance is required.
- Previous experience of working with children and young people is desirable, but not essential.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
