Leadership Scale L10 to L16 £66,120 to £76,481 Fringe, required September 2026.
St Peter's is a renowned successful school and Sixth Form in Guildford. As we continue our journey, inspiring and compassionate leadership is central to our vision. We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a dynamic and innovative Assistant Headteacher, starting in September 2026. This is a pastoral focused role and our aim is to appoint the right person to our leadership team, so the job description is broad. The main priorities will focus on, but are not exclusive to:
• Be the SLT lead for two or three year groups
• Line manage Heads of Year for those year groups
• Be the SLT lead for SALT (Student Action Leadership Team)
• Be a Deputy Designated safeguarding lead
• Contribute to Leadership team operational aspects of supervision, duties, assemblies etc
