Administrative and Communications Assistant – Xavier Catholic Education Trust
Salary: £25,187 pa actual salary, based on salary grade PS5 (FTE £28,546)
Hours: 36 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term time + 1 week)
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administrative & Communications Assistant to join our Central Team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide administrative support across the Trust, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the central office.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in administration, operations, communications, or executive support within a Catholic Multi Academy Trust. The role also includes supporting communications activities and promoting Trust events and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- High level of initiative
- Friendly, well organised and efficient, working accurately and effectively
- Clear interpersonal skills, having the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to maintain confidentiality inside and outside the workplace.
