St Clement’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an After School Club Assistant for our happy and successful school. The school is situated next to Ewell West train station with good transport links.

Our children are well behaved, confident learners and our staff are dedicated and friendly.

The main purpose of this role is to provide a stimulating, creative and caring environment for children attending the After School Club.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of appropriate safe, stimulating and creative play activities.
  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of refreshments/tea.
  • Encouraging children to eat using the correct etiquette.
  • Assisting in the cleaning and tidying away of tea items, tables, benches and play/activity equipment (some light lifting will be required).
  • Ensuring acceptable standards of behaviour are maintained.
  • Administering basic first aid and recording incidents as appropriate in line with school procedures.

Hours: 15 Hours per week - Monday to Friday  3.00pm to 6.00pm 

Term time plus 1 week (39 weeks per year).

Salary Pay Grade: Surrey Pay PS3:  Actual salary £8,721.23 (£24,330 FTE) for 15 hours per week.
