Central Xavier Teach SouthEast Team – Xavier Catholic Education Trust
Salary: £47,734 actual salary (FTE:£55,486), based on pay scale XCET PS11.2.
Contract: One-year fixed term support staff contract.
Hours: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only).Working 08:30 - 16:30, 5 days a week based in Chertsey. (Part time working would be considered but no less than 3 days a week.)
The Role:
The Xavier Catholic Education Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Cohort Lead to join the central Xavier Teach SouthEast (XTSE) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of teachers through our highly regarded Initial Teacher Training (ITT) provision. Working within the central XTSE team, you will support and manage a cohort of postgraduate trainee teachers throughout their training journey while contributing to the strategic development and quality assurance of our wider teacher training programme.
Xavier Teach SouthEast works across Surrey, Sussex, London and Berkshire to grow great primary and secondary teachers. Across our eight regional hubs, we are committed to high quality training and bespoke placements that support each one of our trainees to fulfil their potential.

- Qualified Teacher Status
- Passionate interest in educational research
- Experience in supporting Early Career and developing teachers
- Strong communicator and good team worker.
