JOB OVERVIEW

St Francis' Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Class Teachers to join our teaching team. Candidates should have previous experience teaching children of all abilities, be keen to learn and develop and prepared to deliver high quality lessons, while successfully nurturing and inspiring our pupils. We are looking for a passionate class teachers, who will enthuse and motivate pupils to strive for success, whilst maintaining a positive learning environment for all children within the school.

We are a welcoming school, with a caring ethos and welcome applications from teachers of all faiths and denominations. Knowledge of the Thrive approach, Talk for Writing and White Rose Maths would be desirable, but are not essential.

The school is in the process of joining Xavier Catholic Education Trust. We expect the process to be completed by 1 September 2024.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• A Good Honours Degree

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Experience teaching in a primary setting - KS2 
• Enthusiasm to develop a detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery
• A highly caring and patient approach to cultivating our children
• The ability to motivate both pupils and your peers
• High standards of communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Be understanding of all pupils including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Willingness to deliver Catholic religious education and support our Catholic ethos
• Readiness to be a subject leader
• Knowledge of The Thrive Approach, White Rose Maths and Talk for Writing would be particularly welcomed, although is not essential.
