We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible, organised Finance Manager to lead our busy Finance Team. You will work closely with the School Business Manager to ensure the smooth running of all our financial operations.

Commitment to supporting the distinctive nature of a Catholic school
Some background and experience in a school arena
Appropriate accounting qualifications beneficial
Excellent working knowledge of Excel
Recent and relevant professional development
Experience of managing teams
A strong understanding of LA and DfE financial systems and procedures including funding formulae for schools and Sixth forms
Strong managerial, organisational and motivational skills and experience to enable you to lead the team and share in the delivery of the school vision and development plan
Good level of communication skills, enabling effective development of good relationships with staff
Self motivated, flexible and able to work in an autonomous way, being able to direct and manage own workload and that of others
Good team player, able to work effectively alongside others to meet the aims and needs of the school
Ability to participate in training and performance management
Present a positive personal image, contributing to a welcoming school environment which supports equal opportunities
