We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring teacher and experienced subject leader to take on a Curriculum Lead role leading our thriving Business and Economics Departments and to teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5. The successful applicant will be working with a team of exceptional practitioners and will be well supported by both the existing teaching team and the wider School Leadership Team.
The department is committed to delivering a curriculum that is rich and broad; one that excites students; nurtures their curiosity and helps prepare them for their next steps. The department currently consists of four subject specialists. Each are passionate about their subject and continually challenges themselves to develop their own practice. The team work collaboratively on the development of pedagogy and are very supportive of each other.
The successful candidate will have direct oversight of the Business and Economics curriculum and undertake all the responsibilities of a Curriculum Leader in this regard. They will be ably supported by the Second in Department. The Curriculum Lead will be responsible for overall student achievement across all the courses offered within the department and will be line managed by a member of the School Leadership Team.
