An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Systems Manager to lead and manage all IT systems and services at St John the Baptist School.
The IT Systems Manager will be a technical hands on specialist but will also be responsible for developing a clear and pragmatic vision of what the school aims to achieve with IT over time. The IT Systems Manager will provide regular input to the IT strategy ensuring it meets the school’s requirements and is viable from a technical and support perspective.
We are heavily invested in the strategic development of IT infrastructure and in ensuring that systems and structures are fully utilised to enhance the education of students within our school.
As the IT Systems Manager, you will provide professional leadership to a team of IT technicians and have a passion for technology, with strong experience in supporting and deploying enterprise systems. Utilising your extensive IT experience, you'll ideally have experience of undertaking and managing deployments of technology and providing enterprise-level support to clients and colleagues.
This is a varied IT support role working in a rewarding environment that requires the building of strong relationships with students and colleagues. If you're a person with excellent technical and problem-solving skills, have initiative, a great communicator with a proactive attitude and ultimately get a real buzz out of going the extra mile to support people, then you will be well suited to this role.
Essential experience includes:
At least 2 years’ managing team members
At least 5 years’ providing a minimum of line 2 support
Support and maintenance of Windows & Linux Servers, including AD, DNS, DHCP, operating across Windows, Mac and iOS.
Working with database servers
Procurement, supplier management and budgeting control
