Learning Support Assistant
St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School in Merrow, Guildford, is looking for a Learning Support Assistant.
Hours: 8.30am – 3.20pm Monday to Friday, permanent, term time only.
Start date: Monday 3rd November 2025
Salary: PS3, FTE £24,330, Pro rata £18,403.15
The successful candidate will:
- Enjoy working as part of a happy, hardworking team.
- Be working in KS2 initially (but would need to be flexible to work across all primary phases.)
- Be enthusiastic, creative and positive.
- Have initiative and be able to motivate and encourage children.
- Offer classed based learning support for students as well as lead small group interventions.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have experience as an LSA/Teaching Assistant desirable, but not essential.
