Maths Hub Coordinator
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and high impact Maths Hub as a Maths Hub Coordinator, playing a central role in the operational delivery of maths education support across the region.
Working within the Operational Management Team, you will help ensure the smooth and effective running of the Maths Hub’s day to day activity. This is a varied coordination role, combining systems, data, communication and organisation, and working closely with colleagues to keep programmes running efficiently and accurately.
With one of the strongest engagement levels nationally, the North-East Hants and Surrey Maths Hub is a busy, collaborative environment. You will work alongside the Maths Hub Operations & Marketing Manager and fellow Coordinators to support programmes, communications and data processes, making sure the operational foundations are strong and reliable.
As part of the wider operational support, you will also help coordinate Maths Hub events and activity, ensuring the practical and administrative arrangements are in place to support Work Group Leads and participants.
The role is 20 hours per week, with some flexibility around working patterns to reflect key deadlines and priorities. There is genuine scope for the role to develop over time, with opportunities to take on increased responsibility and help shape processes as the Hub continues to grow.
About Maths Hubs
The Maths Hubs Network is a collaboration of 40 Maths Hubs across England, supported by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). Maths Hubs play a central role in developing school led, system leadership in maths education.
