We are looking for an exceptional music teacher for EYFS/KS1/KS2:
• Demonstrate the drive to promote successful learning and raise standards for all pupils.
• To raise the standards and champion quality music experiences so that music is valued and fully integrated in school.
• To plan and teach music lessons for each class from Year R to Year 6.
• To plan and teach singing to groups including choirs, in assemblies to create and support performance opportunities for children.
• To plan alongside the class teachers for musical performances/productions.
• To identify gifted and talented, musical pupils and set up music opportunities for them.
• To co-ordinate planning sessions with class teachers and art co-ordinator to ensure that music is integrated into our curriculum and where possible links across the curriculum.
• Be inspirational, dynamic and forward thinking to maximise learning potential of all.
• Have high expectations of themselves and the children they work with.
• Have the skills to work as part of a team as well as through their own initiative.
• Be committed to the school’s ethos and to all aspects of school life.
• Be sympathetic to the aims and ethos of the Catholic Church.
