St Edmund's Catholic Primary School are looking to recruit an experienced and friendly School Office Administration Assistant to join our busy and friendly team as an efficient point of contact within our main school office and to provide a range of admin deliverables to enable the school to function efficiently.
Hours: 08:30 to 15:45 / 20.25 hours per week (breaks are unpaid)
Days: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays / 39 weeks per annum (Xavier CET term time, plus 5 inset days).
Key deliverables include:
- Collect, update, maintain and analyse information, data and records ensuring accuracy of information held, and produce routine and more complex reports as requested by senior staff or external agencies (e.g. standard/statutory returns);
- Develop and maintain manual and computerised records and management information systems, and manage databases and the school newsletter/website as required;
- Support the efficient running of reception, managing telephone and face-to-face enquiries, and ensuring the school's security procedures for visitors are properly followed, to provide a courteous welcome to all stakeholders and visitors and promote a positive and professional image of the school;
- Prioritise and carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the school office, including arrangements for school visits and events, administration of school lettings and other uses of the school as required;
- Monitor and manage a limited range of stock and supplies;
- Undertake general financial administration such as processing orders, reconciling and recording monies and assist in maintaining various school accounts in accordance with financial regulations and procedures;
- Assist with pupil first aid/welfare duties.
