Job overview

You’ll hold key responsibility for all aspects of leading and managing SEN and wider inclusive provision across the school, including data analysis, supporting planning and implementation of interventions and strategies for SEN pupils alongside the Senior Leadership Team, and monitoring day-to-day operations with regards to the SEN policy and provision.

You’ll also contribute to evaluation and review processes that are in place, providing further guidance to teaching staff with delivering provision to SEN students and modelling successful inclusive strategies to promote high levels of achievement.

We are looking to appoint a SENDCo who:

will have responsibility for all aspects of leading and managing SEN and wider inclusive provision across the school, including data analysis, supporting planning and implementation of interventions and strategies for SEN pupils alongside the Senior Leadership Team

• will monitor day-to-day operations with regards to the SEN policy and provision.

• will contribute to evaluation and review processes, providing further guidance to teaching staff with delivering provision to SEN students and modelling successful inclusive strategies to promote high levels of achievement.

• will strive for excellence in everything they do;

• has a proven track record as an outstanding teacher and leader;

• will inspire, challenge, motivate and support staff at all levels;

• will nurture a strong caring ethos and community spirit within our school;
