About the Design Technology Department:
• We currently teach Resistant Materials, Textiles, Food, Systems and Control and Graphics and have a wide range of up to date well maintained, modern equipment with six Design Technology subject specific teaching rooms.
• As a team we are friendly, hardworking, positive and passionate about our subject. We work hard to develop exciting projects that will capture imaginations and make learning fun. We share ideas and resources and work in a highly effective and collaborative way.
• We have two technicians who work closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth running of the department and to provide the best possible experience for our students.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher of Design Technology, ideally specialising in Textiles to complement the skills of the current team, however we would welcome applications with a desire to develop their subject knowledge. We would welcome experienced and ECT applications. If you are passionate about your subject and want to really make a difference to the lives of young people then St Peter’s could be the school for you.
