About the History Department:
• As a team we are friendly, supportive, hardworking and passionate about our subject. We work hard to engage and inspire all students.
• In Key Stage 3 students study a mastery Curriculum, covering power & Conflict 1066 to 1660, Development of Britain 1750 to 2000 and Moments that shaped the modern world.
• In Key Stage 4 students’ study Edexcel, covering Crime & Punishment 1000 to present, Henry VIII & his ministers 1509 – 40, Superpower relations & the Cold War 1941 – 91 and Weimar & Nazi Germany
• In Key Stage 5 students study OCR, covering British period study & enquiry - Britain 1930-97, Non-British period study - The American Revolution 1740-96, Thematic study & historical interpretations - Russia & its rulers 1855 to 1964 and Topic based essay.

About You:
