St John the Baptist School is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join our well established and high performing department. The post would be suitable for an NQT or for someone with experience looking to develop their teaching practice further.
Due to the continued success of our Maths Department, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated practitioner who shares our commitment to high standards of professionalism and academic achievement and is eager to develop their own practice in an environment that is both supportive and at the cutting edge of Maths pedagogy and practice. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the subject and for teaching children; the ability to inspire students; and the desire to go the extra mile to help our students achieve their full potential. The ability to teach to A Level, although preferred, is not required.
This is an excellent opportunity for both NQTs as well as more experienced teachers who are looking to grow and develop their own classroom practice whilst immersing themselves in an environment that is at the forefront of Maths teaching and pedagogy. The successful candidate will be well supported and have access to significant future professional development opportunities both within and beyond the department. The Maths Department is heavily invested in the leadership of the North East Hants & Surrey Maths Hub and as such we can offer significant leadership and development opportunities.
