We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious teacher to play a key role in the teaching of Politics at St Andrew’s and join our outstanding team in the History and Politics Department. The majority of the staff in the department will teach History at KS3 and either History or Politics at A Level although a number teach both. We are looking for someone who can inspire our students, who is passionate about Politics and the impact studying the subject can have on our students. Currently Politics is studied at AS Level and A Level with approximately 40 students in each year group taught in three groups in Year 12 and three groups in Year 13. The exam results are excellent with 100% A*-C and over 75% A*-B at A Level consistently. This post would suit an ECT or an experienced candidate.
