Trust Accountant – Xavier Catholic Education Trust
Salary range: XCET 11 full time, term time (plus 2 weeks) £41,363 - £46,780 (depending on experience) Full Time equivalent £45,734- £51,725 - flexible working / part time considered
The Trust Accountant will support the Finance Director in providing leadership and management of all aspects of finance and contribute to the financial direction of the Xavier Catholic Education Trust which serves 15 schools, Teach Southeast and the Xavier Teaching School Hub.
The Trust Accountant will provide effective and efficient financial support for all schools within the Trust, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and reporting is timely and in line with required annual financial returns. You will work with our school finance leads and other external partners to co-ordinate with the work of the external auditor to prepare and submit audited statutory consolidated accounts.
The Trust Accountant will implement robust systems, processes and controls to monitor financial performance, driving change within the finance operation of the Trust, bringing greater efficiency in the way the Trust carries out its business.

The Central team supports the schools across a wide spectrum of areas including Finance, HR, Estates, communication, Teaching & Learning and support for children with additional needs. The team are based at Salesian School in Chertsey and travel to the individual schools on a regular basis.
