Salary: PS9 - PS10 £22,566 - £27,772 (FTE £41,585–£51,175), dependant on experience.
Hours: 3 days per week, term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks pa).
Location: Remote working possible, with some travel across Trust schools as required.

Are you passionate about strong governance and dedicated to making a difference in Catholic education? We are seeking a Governance Professional to join our Trust and play a pivotal role in upholding and developing effective governance across all levels of our organisation.

About the Role:

As Trust Governance Professional, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate governance activities across the Trust.
  • Provide expert support to the Trust Board, its committees, and Local Governing Committees.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory governance requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, aligning governance with our Trust’s Catholic mission and values.
  • Champion the distinctive Catholic ethos of the Trust through your work and professional conduct.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive individual with:

  • Strong knowledge of governance frameworks in the education or charitable sector.
  • A deep understanding of compliance, regulation, and best practice in governance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to the Catholic ethos and the mission of Catholic education.
  • The ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
