LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Required from: 1 January 2026 (fixed term until 31 August 2026)

Salary: JG3 (SCP 5-6)

Hours: 18 hours per week Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Actual Salary: £10,932 - £11,105 pa

Yatton Junior School is part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership (Multi-Academy Trust). We are looking for enthusiastic Learning Partner to work flexibly as part of a team, under the direction of class teachers and/or the SENCO to support teaching staff with their responsibility for the educational, personal and social development of pupils including those who may have special educational needs.

The role will also include some supervision and the running of quiet mindful activities in The Hive at Lunchtime: a calming space for identified children to participate in regulatory activities when needed.

The successful applicant will be calm, patient, firm, flexible and resilient.
