The Children, Staff and Governors of Shirenewton Primary School
are looking for a forward thinking, innovative co-leader to share headship with the current headteacher.

We are looking for a leader who has had experience of acting headship or headship, who is able to lead and manage the school and work as a partner in the Chepstow Cluster of schools. They will be expected to maintain very high standards and be committed to providing a rich and creative curriculum that meets the learning needs of our children and enables all to reach their full potential.

We are looking for a leader who:-

• is proven to be committed to forward thininking inspirational teaching and learning;
• has excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, leading teams in a collaborative manner;
• has a passion to ensure that every child succeeds;
• has effective financial management;
• has an ability to work effectively in partnership with the wider school Community;
• inspires, motivates, empowers and enables others;
• has proven experience of effectively providing for pupils with additional learning needs, including those who are more able and talented.

• a Governing Body who actively challenge the Headteachers.

The successful candidate will be NPQH qualified or be an experienced Headteacher.
