Mathematics Key Stage 4 Curriculum Manager

Salary: Main Scale (Inner London Allowance) and TLR 2C (£6,322)

This post commences on 1st September 2017 and offers an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and ambitious individual.

The successful candidate will:
• Support the Curriculum Coordinator in all aspects of the KS4 course(s) within the curriculum area.
• Monitor the progress of all the students’ learning at KS4, including the analysis of data and implementation of intervention strategies.
• Monitor and track the progress of ‘significant groups’ to narrow the gap across the whole of Key Stage 4
• Organise and review all Key Stage 4 intervention strategies
• Conduct a regular review of all syllabi and SoW ensuring they are differentiated, appropriate to national curriculum changes and are in line with The Governors of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School are seeking to appoint a Mathematics Key Stage 4 Curriculum Manager. the expected whole school strategies e.g. SMSC, SEN, AFL, PLTS in the curriculum area.
• Support the Teaching and Learning Strategies at KS4
• Ensure the sharing of good practice amongst team members is regularly taking place and supports the development of SOWs
• Be the first point of contact for parents in all matters relating to students in KS4
• Attend KS4 curriculum and pupil development meetings
