Our Academy is situated in the historic fishing town of Looe on Cornwall’s outstanding south eastern coastline, serving the beautiful coastal and rural villages and hamlets.

Assessed by Ofsted in July 2015 as a good school, the Academy is an inclusive secondary community school delivering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to 610 students aged 11-16 and of mixed ability.

About the position

The governors of Looe Community Academy Trust warmly welcome applications from teachers of Science that share our commitment to excellence and our passion for achieving the very best outcomes for all our learners.

If you can teach Science with energy and inspiration to students of all abilities across KS3 and KS4 then we would like to hear from you, whether you are newly qualified, about to become qualified or bring a wealth of teaching experience, as we are looking for the right person to supplement our vibrant existing team.

The Science department is staffed with subject experts and is well resourced through our commitment to provide outstanding opportunities for learning, including our two brand new state of the art laboratories.
