As a cleaner at Woodkirk Academy you will work with our existing team of staff to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the school building. You will have responsibility for a given area of the school, and be required to cover other areas as required. Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.Woodkirk is a well- established, fully comprehensive, co-educational 11-18 maintained Academy. Part of Leodis Academies Trust, we have a proud record in academic, intellectual, social and sporting, musical, dramatic and community developments. We aim to provide a safe, happy and ordered environment where all our young people have the maximum opportunities to fully develop their individual skills and abilities. Working hours are 3 – 6pm or 5 – 8pm during term time (38 weeks per year). During the school holidays, you will be required to work 20 days (60 hours) across the school holiday year by arrangement.Appointments will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check
