Duties include assisting with planning the Governor meeting agendas, distributing meeting documents, taking accurate minutes and advising the Governing Body on its responsibilities. All our meetings, which total 25 per year, are generally held on Monday and Tuesday evenings (6.30pm – 8.30pm) during term time. All other duties can be fulfilled from home at times of the day to suit the post holder (whilst ensuring agreed deadlines are met). We are looking for someone who:• has administrative experience• is IT literate (Microsoft Office) • is well organised and has good communication skills• is able to take accurate minutes at meetings• is able to maintain impartiality and handle confidential matters You should be reliable and have a flexible approach. Previous Clerking experience is desirable however not essential as training, support and professional development is available.
