1 to 1 Teaching Assistant with a named child
An opportunity has arisen for a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant working with a named child to join our team of skilled and dedicated support staff. Reporting to a Head of Year, you would also benefit from weekly training and professional development opportunities coordinated by our Inclusion Assistant Headteacher.
All of our staff are professional and committed to providing the very best outcomes for our pupils. Horsell C of E Junior School has a strong record of supporting trainee teachers, and this role would be ideal for someone who is considering training to teach in the future, although all applications will be considered.
Horsell Church of England Junior School is a three-form entry junior school in Horsell, Surrey. Situated in the middle of the village, the school is at the centre of the local community. All members of our school family live by our values of love, service, dignity, hope, justice and forgiveness.
Horsell pupils are articulate, inquisitive, polite and eager to learn. Parents and carers are supportive and we have a large and active PTA. The school has large classrooms, an ICT suite, a music room and children’s kitchen. The extensive grounds include a swimming pool, cricket nets, gym equipment and a forest school area.

The hours are 8.30am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday (31.25 hours) but part time hours would be considered for the right candidate.
