Ratby was most recently inspected by Ofsted in June 2018. The inspection was very successful. We were delighted that the inspectors could see our many strengths and we were graded “Good” in all aspects. We are looking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in either Key Stage 1 or 2.
This is a Fixed Term Contract of 28.75 hours per week to start as soon as possible. (38 weeks plus 10 addition hours for training, child specific contract, working hours are 8.45am – 15.15pm with a half hour lunch duty and half hour lunch break. Grade 5 (Point 7) £12,465 per annum.
The successful candidate will be both knowledgeable of the primary curriculum and a caring individual who is able to work under the direct supervision of a teacher, to provide support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. This may include providing general support for whole class learning activities, supporting individuals, small groups of pupils or administering first aid treatment.
