Position - 3 x 1.2 Learning Support Assistants tempoarary contracts from 1st September 2022 to 31st August 2023
Hours of Work - 25 hours per week Term Time only
Grade G01 £18,333 to £19,264 FTE. Actual Salary - £10,156.09
Start Date - 1st September 2022
Saltney Ferry CP School is looking to appoint 3 enthusiastic, flexible, patient and reliable Learning Support members of staff who has experience of working primarily with Foundation Phase age children and those with additional needs.
The role will involve supporting a specific pupil with their learning and social, emotional and behavioural needs. A knowledge of and/or experience of working with children who have ASD and/or ADHD would be advantageous but not essential. You must be willing to support the individual with their personal care needs.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
• Patience and understanding
• A calm, positive and confident manner
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Lots of initiative
• The ability to work successfully as part of a team
• Ability to lead and support play based learning.
Initially this will be on a temporary basis until 31st August 2023, although there may be a possibility of the hours extending.
