Salary: From £17,364 pro rata

Ysgol Trelawnyd VA School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, creative and suitably qualified Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Key Stage 2.
This part time role will involve supporting learners’ progress in the classroom and the Outdoors. We are looking for an individual who has the ability to:
Support the teacher with their responsibility for the development of learners’ physical, emotional and educational needs;
Can use digital technologies to support learning;
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to future planning;
Work with small groups of pupils and individuals, delivering intervention programmes as required;
Discuss with, and report back to the teacher on the planning and assessment of pupil work;
Organise and maintain the learning environment;
Work as part of a team to ensure that the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of pupils enhances their learning opportunities and life skills;
Understand and apply school policies;
Have good communication and listening skills and
Be willing to learn and participate in professional learning opportunities.
