The successful candidate will be a calm and caring person who enjoys working with children and who has a good sense of humour. You will be joining an enthusiastic and highly motivated staff.
Candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
You would normally work between 12.00 – 1.15pm Monday to Friday (6.25 hours per week) term time only, plus approximately one Midday Supervisor meeting per term.
Internal candidates who wish to apply for this position on a secondment basis must obtain approval prior to application using Form SEC1 (4.C.081). Requests may only be approved by the relevant Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.

The job will involve a lot of standing and walking, both inside the school and outdoors in the playground, often in cold weather.
