We are looking for an experienced and skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, compassionate and dedicated staff team.
This position will involve working 1:1, in the mornings, with a child with complex social and emotional needs – providing emotional support, managing behaviour and supporting learning.
In the afternoon, you will be working alongside a class teacher to support the learning within a KS1 classroom, providing group and 1:1 support and helping to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources - so that all learners reach their full potential.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of working one to one with SEND children and be able to work within a team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and caring individual who is able to develop a supportive relationship with children for the purpose of improving educational outcomes, self-esteem, resilience and aspiration

Compass Point Primary is a friendly and diverse academy school in the heart of Bedminster. Your contract of employment is directly with Gatehouse Green Learning Trust ('the Trust'). Your main place of work will be Compass Point Primary but you may be deployed to work at any school within the Trust and carry out those duties that may be reasonably required in relation to such deployment.
