We are a progessive and agile workforce looking for a motivated, flexible finance professional to join our team as our Accountant.
This is a part time all year round role of 22 hours per week, based in Mangotsfield School, we offer a competitive salary £37,568 - £40,578 pa FTE and a range of benefits including an attractive defined benefit local pension scheme.
Our offices are situated in leafy South Gloucestershire, less than 20 minutes away from the heart of the cosmopolitan vibrancy of Bristol City Centre with excellent transport links to the M5 and M4.
You will be a pro-active qualified, or part qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent). You will have strong technical knowledge and be able to communicate this to staff at all levels in the organisation.
You’ll be agile and resilient, being able to create meaningful relationships with your stakeholders and Trust colleagues. It is essential that you can prioritise your workload whilst working unsupervised and be open to supporting other areas of the finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be ensuring that the Trust’s finances are well managed and the timely and accurate submission of statutory returns and reports to Trustees and all statutory returns are completed in a timely fashion.
The role can provide the opportunity to be exposed to and trained in the Business Partnering aspect of the central finance team work including budget setting and financial planning.
