The Adult and Community Learning (ACL) Team at Oaklands College is looking for an experienced and qualified ICT tutor to deliver bespoke ICT courses. These are focused on teaching adult students’ (post 19) skills in using Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word and Excel), internet and smartphones (desirable).
These short courses are usually delivered over four to six weeks (2/2.5 hours per week). You need to have previous experience in delivering such courses and be proficient in your ICT skills and knowledge.
The Adult and Community Learning team offer a wide range of short courses which also includes our extensive provision of leisure courses and skills improvement courses at the main campus and in community settings.
The successful person for this role will need to have experience of teaching ICT. It would be desirable if candidates have a QTS however we can offer you in depth coaching and the opportunity to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst employed.
